Have you heard? A new show is coming to Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and it is completely free to enjoy. Here is the first look at Disney Dreams That Soar drone show at Disney Springs.
“Disney Dreams that Soar,” is new drone show at Disney Springs that starts on May 24 and lasts through September 2. The show will feature over 800 drones, expand over 400 feet tall, and include images from Toy Story, Coco, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Up, Star Wars and more. The show will take place on Disney Springs West Side, on the waterfront between Cirque du Soleil Theatre and Aerophile – The World Leader Baloon Flight. (Check the showtimes here before your trip before your trip to know the showtimes before you arrive).
The viewing areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Because this is an outdoor show, it may be subject to cancellation for bad weather. And if you were persuaded to purchase a MagicBand+, you will find a new use for it: they will reportedly light up, vibrate, and interact with the drone show. The more you know! Here is a first look at the show.Â
Reminder that Disney Springs is a shopping center (formerly called Downtown Disney) located outside the Disney World theme parks, meaning you do not need a ticket to get in. But, in my experience, visiting Disney Springs can be hectic—especially if you need to park in one of the garages—so try and arrive early.
