It’s a big day for parents: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse debuts on Disney Junior July 21, and on Disney+ next day (July 22). Here’s what we know about the continuation of the iconic show.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, a follow up to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse—not Mickey Mouse Funhouse (an important distinction)— premieres Monday, July 21 at 9:00 a.m. PDT/EDT. The first ten episodes can be streamed on Disney+ the very next day, Tuesday, July 22. No word on how many episodes comprise the season or how they will be rolled out on the streamer.

As previously reported, several new updates are in store for the Sensational Six, including the expansion of the Clubhouse with the Laughing Lot, and the Wacky Tube, a hangout zone that gets the gang to where they need to go in “fun and silly ways.”

New characters include a handy friend aptly called Little Helper, and most intriguing, Duffy the Disney Bear, the Tokyo Disney phenomenon, who is being slowly reintroduced to the U.S. markets. For more information see my article, Who is Duffy the Disney Bear?

Also worth noting: Minnie, Daisy, Donald and Goofy are all getting their own personalized clubhouses, to be revealed throughout the series.

The original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse aired between 2006-2016 and remains a Top 3 series for preschoolers on streaming with over 5 billion views on YouTube, including the “Hot Dog!” theme song. For my fellow music nerds, a fun fact: the song has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song is included as part of the new soundtrack that dropped July 18.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 2.0 is produced by Disney Television Animation. Much of the same creative team from the original Emmy^® Award-winning series have returned.

My kids absolutely love the original show. In fact, I find myself thinking of the day when they eventually will want to watch different shows or no longer be interested in kids content and I feel pre-nostalgia. I’m excited to see if they like this season as much as the earlier ones.
